My cousin Ellen celebrated her birthday today. It was a big b-day for her, but I have to say, if you are only as young as you feel, look and act…then happy 25th birthday Ellen 
…you rock lady!!
And, of course, Gracie had to get her picture taken too (it’s only fun if everyone else is doing it, don’t you know?!)
here is my entry for this week’s I Heart Faces photo challenge…its my niece, Faith, doing cartwheels at a tulip farm…I love how carefree she is in this pic 
This past weekend Chris and I had the pleasure of going on a I Heart Faces photo walk with other area Michigan photographers. There were nearly fifty of us roaming the streets around Eastern Market in downtown Detroit. Chris and I got stopped a couple of times by people wondering why there were so many camera’s around! It was a very cool experience.
First we strolled around taking pics of some of the items for sale (flowers, veggies, pottery, etc) and then we spent the rest of the time shooting models (our favorite part!). Little girls are such fun subjects to photograph. You never know when they are just going to “vogue” for you…But I also love to capture those moments when they aren’t even aware of the camera, like the first picture below. Isabelle was just doing her thing and I happened to be there to capture the moment. That’s what makes it my favorite pic of the day.
Of course little Lily is a super cutie…such a good baby…I wanted to take her home with me! Then I remembered how much work babies are and had a reality check moment Seriously Kim, you are doing an excellent job with your little ones…since I only have one, I really respect those moms whose hands are a little fuller than mine.
